It appears that we will have ripe berries ready to pick by May 15th, and we may be picking peaches by May 20th. To confirm availability, please contact us before you come to the farm.
We do have a limited crop of peaches this year. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, our peach crop will be less than last year. At this time, our early peaches, "Bicentennial" and "Harvester" are looking good, but the late season peaches will be limited. Our blackberry crop looks very good.

Bill and Sue Psencik purchased 23 acres near Fredericksburg in 1994 and began building a peach farm. Bill grew up on a Czech farm outside of Smithville, Texas, so he was no stranger to the hard work involved in farming. Sue was naive enough to be willing to help, but was certainly not an experienced farmer.
With lots of help from family and friends, the Psenciks worked to improve the soil for two years. Then the trees were planted.
The farm has been through drought, freezes, floods, wind, hail and all kinds of challenges as the orchard has been established.
Bill and Sue have retired from their Austin jobs and are working the peach farm full-time.
